Jim is a seasoned financial advisor with a unique perspective. Growing up on construction sites, he learned the importance of strong foundations, attention to detail, and building for the end-user. These principles continue to guide his approach to financial planning.
After beginning his career as a college agent with Northwestern Mutual, early on Jim took his practice to the independent side where he eventually joined forces with fellow VestGen co-founder Brad Doy in 2019. Jim is a native of the northwest Chicago suburbs and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Life Underwriter™, and Chartered Financial Consultant™ designations. Jim, his wife Kristen and their three children now reside in Charlotte, North Carolina where they are devoted to their Catholic faith and their community. Jim loves CrossFit, BBQ, and the North Carolina outdoors.
