Joe Esposito

Founder, Wealth Advisor

You could say Joe Esposito inherited his relationship skills from his mother who worked in the education system and his grandfather, who worked in financial services. Both were highly regarded for their integrity and personable style. Building strong relationships with a concierge-level of service is the foundation of Joe’s work with clients. Whether it’s collaborating with them on their planning and investments, helping them understand the performance of their investments, or fielding questions regarding big life decisions, Joe makes himself available whenever his clients need him.

Joe’s career kicked off after graduating from Denison University with double bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology. His job as a sales representative had him selling all manner of hospital products: from what a patient wears to surgical equipment, and anything you might find in a medical setting. With a personal motto of “one life, one chance, no regrets,” he decided to leave that industry to pursue both his entrepreneurial aspirations and a strong drive to make a positive impact on peoples’ lives. That’s when Joe founded his financial services practice. He has spent more than 30 years serving everyone, from missionaries to millionaires, who approached his firm for guidance.

Joe holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 securities registrations, and is a Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) and a Certified Financial Fiduciary® (CFF®). He also holds health, life, and long-term care licenses.

Joe remains proud of the advisory firm he helped build with Keith Kiker, including the welcoming culture and long-term associates who have served their clients with robust planning and a heavy dose of empathy. He points to teamwork as the reason why EK&A successfully serves clients and builds lasting relationships. Joe knows the power of solid teamwork. He was a starting teammate on the 1985 undefeated Denison University football team that rolled to a 10-0 regular-season record, the college’s first-ever North Coast Athletic Conference championship, and a berth in the NCAA Division III playoffs.

When it comes to his free time, Joe loves to spend it with his immediate and extended family. Joe is married to his wife, Trina of 31 years. He has a son, Parker, who also graduated from Denison University and is in the Army SF, and three daughters, Payton, a University of Dayton graduate, Baylor, in search of what’s next, and Mayson, a Junior at Fenwick High School.

Joe enjoys family vacations to different destinations. He also visits his extended family in Ohio, on Lake Erie, where he grew up, and has many fond memories.
