Gavin Bolanos, WMS™, is an Associate at VestGen.
Gavin helps individuals and families navigate their financial lives by focusing on comprehensive wealth management, retirement planning strategies, and risk protection, all delivered through a personalized and thoughtful approach.
Before joining VestGen, Gavin spent five consecutive summers interning at a large wealth management practice in Inverness, Illinois, under the mentorship of one of LPL Financial’s top 10 advisors. During that time, Gavin earned his Wealth Management Specialist™ (WMS™) designation, passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, and obtained his Health, Accident & Life Insurance Licenses.
Gavin graduated cum laude in May 2025 from The University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Science with a concentration in Family Financial Planning and Counseling. This nationally respected program provided Gavin with a strong academic foundation in personal finance, behavioral economics, and client-focused planning. His coursework also fulfilled the educational requirements to sit for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification exam, as recognized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. While at the University of Alabama Gavin was also able to achieve his eMoney Advisor Certification which allows him to deliver both goals based and cash flow based plans to clients.
